DDC Assurance Lab (DDCAL) is the independent systems-assurance practice founded by Valentyn Rukhaylo. It focuses on evaluating what a software or AI-agent system can actually establish from its evidence, authority, state, execution path, and observable results.
DDCAL grew from systems-assurance research conducted through Altru.dev. The two are connected but serve different purposes: Altru.dev is the broader research and product identity; DDC Assurance Lab is the dedicated assurance, verification, and controlled-publication practice.
Altru.dev remains the broader home for Valentyn Rukhaylo's independent research, software products, experiments, and public technical work. DDC Assurance Lab exists specifically for systems assurance: structured evaluation, controlled evidence, reproducible findings, and assurance services.
This separation is intentional. It keeps product development and exploratory research distinguishable from independent assurance work while preserving the provenance of the research that led to DDCAL.

DDCAL's work is built around bounded conclusions: distinguish observation from inference, preserve uncertainty, identify contradictions, and make clear what the available evidence can and cannot establish.
