TimeBridge Privacy
TimeBridge helps people find workable meeting times across multiple time zones. Selected or pasted scheduling text is processed locally inside the browser. TimeBridge does not use analytics, advertising, telemetry, remote AI services, or permanent webpage access. Calendar exports occur only after the user chooses an option and explicitly confirms the export.

Data collected
TimeBridge does not collect or upload personal data to Altru.dev servers.
The extension may locally process information deliberately selected or entered by the user, including:
Participant names
Cities, countries, and time zones
Working hours and availability boundaries
Meeting dates and duration
Scheduling text from emails, documents, chats, or webpages
Generated meeting options and reply drafts
This information is used only to calculate and display meeting options.
Password fields are excluded from webpage selection.
Local storage
TimeBridge stores limited information inside the browser:
Theme preference
Interface and scheduling preferences
Current participant records
Availability boundaries
Selected meeting option
Current reply draft
The active scheduling workspace is stored in browser session storage so it can be restored while the browser session remains open.
TimeBridge does not synchronize this information with Altru.dev or an external database.
Network requests
TimeBridge makes no automatic or background network requests.
It does not use:
Analytics
Telemetry
Advertising networks
Tracking pixels
Remote databases
External AI services
Remote scripts
Hidden API requests
When a user explicitly confirms a Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar export, Chrome opens that provider’s event-creation page in a new tab.
Only the following information is included:
A generic event title
The selected start time
The selected end time
A minimal TimeBridge event note
Participant names, selected scheduling text, availability boundaries, scores, conflicts, alternative options, and reply drafts are not included in the calendar-provider URL.
The .ICS calendar export is generated entirely inside the browser.
Third-party services
TimeBridge optionally interacts with:
Google Calendar
Used only when the user clicks the Google Calendar button and confirms the export. Google’s own privacy policy applies after the event page is opened.
Outlook Calendar
Used only when the user clicks the Outlook Calendar button and confirms the export. Microsoft’s own privacy policy applies after the event page is opened.
Chrome extension APIs
TimeBridge uses Chrome APIs to display the side panel, read user-selected text after an explicit action, and store local preferences.
TimeBridge does not use third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, AI, or data-processing services.
Permissions
activeTab
Provides temporary access to the current webpage after the user clicks Use selection. This allows TimeBridge to read only the text the user has deliberately highlighted.
scripting
Runs a small packaged function in the active tab to retrieve the highlighted text. TimeBridge does not install a permanent content script.
storage
Stores interface preferences and the current scheduling workspace locally in the browser.
sidePanel
Displays the TimeBridge scheduling interface beside the current webpage.
TimeBridge does not request access to:
Browsing history
Email accounts
Calendar accounts
Passwords
Contacts
Payment information
All websites
Background webpage content
Retention
Altru.dev does not receive or retain scheduling information processed by TimeBridge.
Interface preferences remain in local browser storage until the user clears extension data or removes the extension.
The current scheduling workspace remains in browser session storage until:
The user presses Reset
The browser session ends
The extension’s stored data is cleared
The extension is removed
Downloaded .ICS files remain on the user’s device until the user deletes them.
Deletion
Users can remove current scheduling data by clicking Reset inside TimeBridge.
Users can remove all locally stored extension data by:
Opening chrome://extensions
Selecting TimeBridge
Opening the extension details
Clearing extension data or removing the extension
Downloaded .ICS files must be deleted using the device’s normal file-management controls.
Because TimeBridge does not upload scheduling data to Altru.dev, there is no corresponding server-side scheduling record to request for deletion.
